    Architecture and Social Interaction in Commercial Urban Places

    REDEFINING SABOTINO MARKET IN ROMA


    A three-year ERASMUS Intensive Program under the general title "Architectura and Social Interaction in Commercial Urban Places" is coordinated by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Barcelona). Participants in the Program are lecturers and students from the following universities:

    • Aristotle University of Thessaloniki [AUTH] - School of Architecture
      Thessaloniki, Greece
    • Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University [MSGSU]
      Istanbul, Turkey


    The project is financially sponsored by the European Commission, within the framework of the Erasmus Program, and by "Mercats de Barcelona".

    During this semester (10 / 01 / 2009 - 25 / 01 / 2009) the Program takes place in Roma (Italy) and is organized by the "Facoltà di Architettura Valle Giulia, Università di Roma La Sapienza".
    This year's project is titled "REDEFINING SABOTINO MARKET IN ROMA"

    This architectural workshop aims to become an opening to broader cooperation in teaching and research and an instrument for the better mobility of students and lecturers in the future.
