This website is a product of the confinement due to the state of alarm for the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been designed and built by a single person -Miguel Usandizaga- working part-time between March 12 and April 20, 2020.
In this work we have not used any specific software, but only a web browser, the notepad text editor and the tutorials from html, css and w3.css de w3scools.com, the teaching website of theWorld Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the international community that develops web standards. We have also been helped by the Introduction to html y css of the subject Web Application Development, taught by Professor Barzanallana at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia.
As is almost mandatory at this point, this is a "responsive, mobile-first" website. That is, adaptable to different screen sizes and first of all to those of cell phones.The w3.css code has solved in a very simple way something that was very difficult before.
La fabricación de sitios web usando solamente el código html era prácticamente imposible hace unos años. Desde 2014, con la implantación definitiva de la versión 5 de html y su combinación con css, y desde 2015 con w3.css se ha convertido en algo tan sencillo que hasta un varón adulto normalmente capacitado puede lograrlo. Los demás, pobres, tendrán que seguir conformándose con twitter...
If we have to work as teachers and students without face-to-face, as is inevitable right now, we have to adapt to the internet and we have to be able not only to search for information on the web, but also to produce and publish information: to design and build web pages . Preferably, without relying on commercial software, using only the code. Html means "Do it yourself: free".
